Located in the beautiful Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a fully accredited, public university that enrolls approximately 15,000 students per year. UFV has campuses and locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope, and a growing presence in Chandigarh, India.

English Language Requirements
Academic programs — undergraduate and graduate
IELTS (Academic) - score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum band score of 6.0
TOEFL - score of 88 or higher (iBT) with no section below 20
ELS - University Foundation — English and academic upgrading
TOEFL - score of 71 or higher (iBT) with no section below 16 (effective Winter 2018)

International Undergraduate Student Entrance Scholarship $1,000 to top 10 applicants for Fall entry and top five applicants for Winter entry
Who is eligible? This scholarship is available to top international undergraduate student applicants from recognized post-secondary institutions with a minimum GPA of 3.33 (B+). Short-term visiting students and exchange students are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to apply? All eligible international applicants who apply to UFV are considered automatically. No separate application is necessary. The International Undergraduate Student Entrance Scholarship will be issued as a tuition credit in the recipients' second semester of studies at UFV.
BC Region High School International Student Entrance Scholarship $5,000 to top three applicants for Fall entry
Who is eligible? This scholarship is available to top international high school students studying in BC who apply to study at UFV in their graduating year. Students must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.33 (B+) in all grade 12 courses (minimum three approved grade 12 courses required). In the event that students have taken provincial exams, the higher of the school mark or the blended grade (school mark and provincial exam mark combined) will be applied. Decisions are based on, but not limited to, meeting award criteria, letter of reference and GPA.
How to apply? Applications must be received by the UFV International office by March 1. Students must complete the BC Region High School International Student Scholarship application form and submit it with their interim transcript, and letter of reference from a current school teacher, counselor or principal to international[email protected] Recipients of the award will be notified by the end of March.
International High School Diploma Entrance Scholarship $1,000 to top four applicants for Fall entry
Who is eligible? This scholarship is available to top international high school students who apply to study at UFV in their graduating year from an international high school with an equivalent BC high school diploma and a minimum overall GPA of 3.33 (B+) on all grade 12 courses (minimum three approved grade 12 courses required).
How to apply? All eligible international applicants who apply to UFV are considered automatically. No separate application is necessary. The International High School Diploma Entrance Scholarship will be issued as a tuition credit in the recipients' second semester of studies at UFV.
